How we do it
CWOW visits towns and villages after being invited by local women from around the world. It is our belief to offer specific skills training and respectfully suggest they make their own decisions. By seeing great dignity in the face of the poor, recognizing extraordinary potential, identifying leaders who will bring transformation to their communities, we put forward empowerment. Together we give from the best that we have, not from what has been left over.
what it takes
It takes all of us! We partner with artisans who have an entrepreneurial spirit and are motivated to make better futures for themselves and their community. Our CWOW training team travels to women and offers our Unlocking Your Design business curriculum while purchasing products. Ongoing relationships are formed. We continue to learn from one another through the challenges of growing a business, all the while, creating culturally sensitive solutions. When you make a purchase, it encourages and sustains that artisan, her family, and her community.
